One might think that a title like this points to Snow White's vain
stepmother. Her vanity and competitive mindset would suit a horror story,
but hopefully, that’s not the case. Could it instead be a poetic take on the
inherent dynamics of a duo exhibition—where, suddenly, in front of the
mirror, one becomes two?

It might just as easily reference one of the works in the show. Ossian
Theselius's piece White Mirror is an inverted black mirror, a source of
everlasting entertainment. Arno Westerberg’s reflections on the
characteristics of the everyday could also be associated with the concept
of mirroring.

We can continue reflecting on the title for as long as we please because
we don’t know its origin. It wasn’t even suggested by one of the artists;
rather, it came from a visitor on opening night.
